Our service around the Packaging Act (VerpackG)

Our company has been active in the field of the Packaging Act (previously: Packaging Ordinance) for more than 20 years. We are publicly appointed and sworn experts for packaging disposal in accordance with § 27 VerpackG in conjunction with § 3 (15) VerpackG and registered with the Central Packaging Register Office (ZSVR) as registered experts nationwide for the testing and certification of systems, industry solutions and final recipient systems as well as declarations of completeness.

Our services include the following activities:

1) Testing of:

Systems in accordance with § 17 VerpackG (volume flow verification)
Branch solutions pursuant to § 8 VerpackG; proof of suitable and industry-related collection structures as well as the proper recycling of packaging
Declarations of completeness (VE) of sales packaging put into circulation by manufacturers and distributors pursuant to § 11 VerpackG
Plant suitability in accordance with item 10.4 ff. of the “system volume flow record audit guidelines “ of the ZSVR (proof of plant suitability of plastic packaging incl. plastic composites, liquid cartons and other fibre-based packaging (paper compounds), plants for the mechanical processing of aluminium)

2) Implementation of the Packaging Act:

Compliance with the system participation obligation for packaging
Audit of packaging databases including certified verification of weighing
Audit of the delimitation of sales packaging not subject to mandatory participation
Verification of volume flow records and related activities

3) Special tests for packaging disposal

Verification of chargeable quantities in disposal mixtures on the basis of sample sorting
Determination of compliance with specifications for sorting products from LVP sorting plants (taking into account LAGA M32 / PN 98) and the DKR test guideline for quality testing of sorting specifications),
Testing the distribution of system-related packaging in the case of joint collection by several system providers or within the collection of recyclables bins
Analyses of packaging proportions in defined material streams
