Our service around the Packaging Act (VerpackG)
Our company has been active in the field of the Packaging Act (previously: Packaging Ordinance) for more than 20 years. We are publicly appointed and sworn experts for packaging disposal in accordance with § 27 VerpackG in conjunction with § 3 (15) VerpackG and registered with the Central Packaging Register Office (ZSVR) as registered experts nationwide for the testing and certification of systems, industry solutions and final recipient systems as well as declarations of completeness.
Our services include the following activities:
1) Testing of:
- Systems in accordance with § 17 VerpackG (volume flow verification)
- Branch solutions pursuant to § 8 VerpackG; proof of suitable and industry-related collection structures as well as the proper recycling of packaging
- Declarations of completeness (VE) of sales packaging put into circulation by manufacturers and distributors pursuant to § 11 VerpackG
- Plant suitability in accordance with item 10.4 ff. of the “system volume flow record audit guidelines “ of the ZSVR (proof of plant suitability of plastic packaging incl. plastic composites, liquid cartons and other fibre-based packaging (paper compounds), plants for the mechanical processing of aluminium)
2) Supporting manufacturers and distributors in the implementation of the Packaging Act, e. g.:
- In defining the obligation to participate in the system for packaging.
- In the establishment and maintenance of packaging databases including certified weighing
- Differentiation of sales packaging that is not subject to mandatory participation
- Preparation of volume flow verification and related activities
3) Testing and preparing of:
- e. g. sorting reports on the determination of chargeable quantities in disposal mixtures or on compliance with the specification in the case of sorting products from light weight packaging sorting facilities (taking into account LAGA M32 / PN 98) as well as the DKR test guideline on the quality examination of sorting specifications),
- Expert opinions on the determination of packaging belonging to the system in the case of joint collection by several system providers or within the collection of recyclable materials in bins.
- Analyses of packaging shares in defined material flows
